Dr Damchi was born in Babol, Iran, in 1983. He received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Zanjan University, Zanjan, Iran, in 2006, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Power Engineering from the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Mashhad, Iran, in 2010 and 2015, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Shahrood University of Technology, Shahrood, Iran. His research interests include power system protection, transient analysis, and reliability.
