Dr. Morteza Rahimiyan

Dr. Rahimiyan, Associate Professor at the Shahrood University of Technology, Shahrood, Iran, received the B.Sc. degree from the Isfahan university of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, in 2003, as well as the M.Sc. and the Ph.D. (with honors) from the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Mashhad, Iran in 2006 and 2011, respectively, all in electrical engineering. In 2010, he was a visiting researcher at the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Ciudad Real, Spain. He has worked in operation, planning and economics of electric energy systems, as well as in the application of optimization. He has published more than 20 papers in SCI journals and is the author of a textbook published by Springer. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.
